At Ward End Primary pupils are taught Design Technology through a variety of creative and practical activities. Pupils are taught the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in a process of design and making.

When learning about cooking, pupils are taught the principles of a healthy and varied diet, to prepare dishes and understand where food comes from.
